Selan was born on Iridonia, living slaves life under the local rule of scum and villainy. he grew as a slave and learned never to oppose the opressors.But in time... things changed. He got more control over his surroundings and became increasingly violent.

One day, his opressor was about to beat him to death for failing to destroy a party of monsters. The man reached for his pistol and started beating. Selan could bear the physical pain and he got angry.. very angry... Out of pure rage he got to his feet, reflected the blaster shots wich were now firing at him with his bare hands, walked towars his enslaver and punched him in his face.

The man rolled backwards, quickly drew a vibroblade and charged at Selan. The vibroblade however, was already noticed and with one move of his arm, he strangled the man in mid-air, hovering him above the ground. The man couldnt bear the pain and succumbed to a broken neck. His slave-chip deactivating, he used the force and some technology to rip it out of him and he was free.

He then took his former owner's ship, flew it to korriban and entered the temple there, shortly after his arrival, he was inducted into the Sith Order as an Initiate.
